Re: Compliance with Established Architectural Standards
One of our homeowners/neighbors chose another garage door company in lieu of Curry Bros., who guaranteed that the door provided would be the same door as specified by the matrix which all residents received explaining the style, color and costs.
The company delivered and installed a different door that did not meet the specifications, and from the outside, appears to be of a lessor quality. Consequently, the homeowner has received a non-compliance notice stating that the door must be removed and replaced with the proper door at their expense. They also received a current copy of the "Fine Schedule" which when invoked, will make this a very expensive garage door.
At the same time as the garage door fiasco was occurring, another homeowner had a problem with his front door hardware and advised the Board prior to starting any work. This homeowner found out what replacement hardware could be used, knows what his responsibilities are and is proceeding with the repair project in the prescribed manner with complete support and assistance of the Board.
The Board of Directors would like to reiterate that prior to starting any work inside your unit, or any work that affects the outside appearance, including satellite dish installation, please check with the Board. Your contractor must provide proof of insurance, license(s) and any other documentation that is required by Dahl Davis for verification. One dish installer was required to cease work and leave the premises as he did not have the required insurance documentation.
Please be advised that the Board will enforce all rules and regulations stridently.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
